There does not have to be a special day for that.
I am talking about getting visitors you have not connected with in...
Well, let’s just say a few decades.
First off, my niece Barbee Berns came to stay a couple days and luckily we convinced her to stay a bit longer.
When she arrived, we were the same age but by the time she left, I was a year older than she was.
I know it sounds a bit corny, but Washington is just a fountain of youth for all who visit here.
During her whirlwind visit, my kitchen was painted and the kitchen's old flooring was removed.
We attended three separate district tournament basketball games (an hour drive each way) and went on a mini adventure through a rain forest.
Our last day was Port Townsend, rain and the
race to Seattle.
In our final moments together we were
Lost in Seattle trying to find the train station before the train left without Barbee.
Both of us knowing we needed a “potty stop”
before she could go aboard.
Seems they built two new mega sport complexes
right where the "old" direct route used to be.
Thanks to Eric’s on the spot street-by-street
directions and a wonderful Seattle Police Officer, we made the train and the potty stop.
Pictures:
1. Echo and Barbie getting ready to
leave for the last Basketball Game.
2.Picture taken from my bed at the
Moldy broken lock Motel Room.
3.Barbee at the beach on a beautiful
day.
4.Interesting pattern left on the sand by
the previous high tide.
I want you to know the formatting for this is fine in the editor but once it loads the formatting changes and really ticks me off !
