Punk mayhem

A heavily tattooed skinhead from Camano Island who's around 20 proved what a tough guy he is shortly after 11 p.m. New Year's Eve in the 100 block of First Ave. N.

The punk did that, according to the police report, by beating the crap out of a woman he didn't even know. The woman and two female friends with her were waiting for an acquaintance to come downstairs to let them into an apartment building on the block when they first noticed the man.

He was in a loud argument with another woman who managed to run away from him, at which point the tough guy turned his evil attentions on the three women, saying: "You're looking at me. (Effing) stop looking at me."

Then he rushed up and attacked one of them, using full-swing punches to hit the woman in the face and head at least eight times, according to two cops who were luckily driving by at the time.

Police pulled the tough guy off the traumatized woman, took him to the ground and cuffed him. Maybe it was because he was facing male cops, but the tough guy turned all compliant at that point. He was busted and booked for assault, and for disturbing the peace.
